Creative Account Director / Marketing Manager (Retail) - V3184
Rapidly expanding & highly regarded Creative & Retail Marketing Insight Agency seek to appoint an exceptional Account Director to manage their high profile £2M+ retail account.
You will work closely with the senior management team to facilitate a broad range of communications including in-store communications, Direct marketing and design.
The role requires a commercially focused, thorough and rigorous knowledge of retail marketing practices encompassing strategy and insight, to planning and communication delivery. Additional day-to-day activities including management of an account team, client satisfaction and overall account ‘ownership', including the delivery of P&L.
You will be the primary contact for the client, responsible for planning, implementing communication strategies in line with their promotional calendar, maintaining senior client relationships and have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the account team
You will ensure business as usual activities on the account are delivered on-time, on budget and to the clients satisfaction, constantly providing thought leadership and engaging in brainstorming sessions with the client.
You will work between Client and Agency offices in London and Hertfordshire, continuously facilitating new briefings and projects, whilst keeping abreast of all current business matters, marketing solutions, industry developments new business opportunities.
In addition this role will be actively involved in their new business pitch proposals and business development strategies
You will have proven Account Director experience in a retail marketing agency or a corporate client environment, as an Account Director or Strategic Marketing Manager, possessing truly well honed Client interface experience and capability, and imperatively, a thorough knowledge of retail marketing and best practice methodologies.
