Innovative and rapidly expanding Division of a major PLc providing outbound document centric/customer correspondence centric services to a diverse internal and external client base seek to appojnt an experienced , commercially astute, Senior Project Manager to play a key part in shaping, structuring & expanding their fledgling Solutions & Transitions Team. You will have a key role in the planning and subsequent management of projects to support the Commercial & Operational Team who currently service a diverse range of internal and external customers.
With a focus on transformation of customer correspondence delivery, they have a range of services in the following areas:-
- Managed data solutions to deliver personalised correspondence solutions
- Transactional print & mail services to maximise postal discounts
- On-line Document archiving & Document Management services
- Print management services
- Multi-channel communications as alternatives to print/mail.
You will be involved with wide-ranging projects varying in size and nature and include Customer Correspondence (Printing & other channel), Document Management Solutions and software integration projects.
Principal Accountabilities
To manage and develop the Solutions & Transitions Team to manage and deliver diverse and complex projects
To analyse issues and manage complex projects to achieve time and resource limited objectives as indicated by IT strategies, Service Plans and other plans as necessary.
To lead the development of IS solutions and process improvement (including Business Process Re-engineering) in order to address business requirements. This may involve the exploitation of appropriate technologies.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Ideally Qualified in PRINCE2TM or equivalent.
Experience of transactional print & mail processes and data-driven customer correspondence projects preferred.
Experience of Local Government/Public Sector/Financial Services IT project delivery especially in a Revenues & Benefits/ Housing/Life & Pensions arena is desirable.
The ability to plan, organise, schedule and coordinate multiple tasks to accomplish objectives
Good knowledge of change management techniques and a proven capability to work independently and with initiative to tight deadlines
Location
You will work extensively from their main technical/operations teams in the West Midlands, however, significant travel across major Client locations in the UK will be required and as such they can be flexible on base location.
