Business Development Manager, Direct Mail, Polywrap and Fulfilment – Bucks
Full service mailing house, delivering data, print, personalisation, fulfilment polybagging and postage services, seeks a dynamic Business Development Manager to maximise the enhanced opportunities across their existing Client base and strategically drive new business opportunities from the wider market.
With a reputation built almost exclusively through word of mouth and recommendations from contacts and customers, they are highly market competitive and have focussed their assets towards quality and service, responding to customer requirements with an unrivalled speed and levels of continuous communication, creating long and healthy customer relationships.
With the recent acquisition of a highly specified polybagging and fulfilment operation, there is a clear opportunity to secure significant cross sales revenue from within the expanded Client base, so we seek an intelligent, driven and ambitious Sales professional to work directly with the Group MD and the site Operations Managers to define and deliver a strategy of enhanced Client communication and sales growth, along with bringing a genuine focus and ability to capitalise on your demonstrable industry knowledge and market connectivity, to drive significant levels of New Business opportunities.
You must have the intelligence and personality to integrate highly effectively with the existing management teams across both organisations, be highly self motivated and professional and with the proven DM industry experience to capitalise on both their existing network and in engaging/driving new Business opportunities into both operations.
With 6 enclosing and 3 poly lines, supported by both mono and colour digital printing, ink jetting, diverse print finishing, plus complex matching and selective inserting capabilities, this Business has never formerly employed an external Sales professional, as the growth has always been driven organically by the MD, but with diversely spread Business interests, he recognises that the Group now needs a focussed ‘face of the future’, so dependent on your level of experience, connectivity, intelligence and aspirations, alongside the very generous initial salary and bonus package, the role could swiftly develop into a Sales orientated GM remit with the potential for equity and leadership.
