Logistics and Purchasing Assistant (Maternity Cover), Creative POS Agency – Central London
Vibrant Creative Agency specialising in the Retail POS/POP and Shopper Marketing arena, seek a disciplined Logistics and Purchasing Assistant to initially cover a 9-12 month maternity cover remit, working within their dynamic and growing Central London based operation.
You will support the Logistics Manager and Production Team by providing a comprehensively structured and disciplined logistics and purchasing support function.
- Raising purchase orders and sending to clients.
- Collating information and guides from different departments.
- Ordering labels and outer boxes, liaising with suppliers and end users.
- Receive, format and send POD;s onwards to Client teams.
- Booking transport in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Printing courier labels.
- Raising delivery notes.
- Updating internal systems and order confirmations.
- Liaising with supplier re; collecting times, dates and pallet counts.
You will be a clear and disciplined thinker, logical and structured in your approach, yet also a detailed and effective communicator, able to manage projects within tight deadlines, thinking / planning ahead and working both individually and as part of a wider team.
You will have a developed experience within a similar logistics support and / or purchasing role, ideally with exposure to parcel and pallet distribution and will relish the opportunity to fulfil a centrally empowered remit in a creatively vibrant business environment.
